Three Rivers Casino is marking a significant milestone in Coos Bay.

The casino is celebrating its 10th anniversary since opening on May 7, 2015, by the Confederated Tribes of the Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians.

Aside from gambling, the Coos Bay location features a popular dining spot, Cafe 12-97.

Ten employees have been with the casino since its inception and plan to stay until retirement.

"I have been here since day one, it's been an exciting adventure because I've never worked for a casino before in my life. I started in the cage, and through the last 10 years, I have been able to develop my career into becoming the marketing supervisor, and being in charge of the promotions," said Crystal Morris, marketing supervisor at Three Rivers Coos Bay.

This is the second location for Three Rivers, with the first casino opening in Florence in 2004.
